Dr. Haji Kamsani Bin Haji Ahmad was inspired to produce ICT books for nursery, kindergarten and primary level students after discovering that there were almost none available in the local market in Brunei Darussalam.

    Dr. Haji completed his secondary education in Brunei and went to further his studies in the United Kingdom where he received his BTEC HND in Engineering, BSc in Electrical Power Engineering and his MSc in Electrical and Electromagnetic Engineering. He started his career as a Lecturer with Institut Teknologi Brunei in 1988. He was seconded for a while to Universiti Brunei Darussalam to lecture ICT subjects. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer with ITB and is lecturing in various units in the BDTVEC HND in Electrical, Electronic and Information Communication Technology and Mechanical Technology. He obtained his PhD in Information Communication Technology in United States of America.

    Prior to the production of this book, Dr. Haji had produced some books including "An Easy Guide to Microsoft Word " and had written papers on Electrical, Electronic, Magnetic Engineering and Information Communication Technology. He successfully attained his Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the United Kingdom in 1988 when he was awarded Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) followed by Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Desktop Service Technician (MCDST). He is the only Bruneian to qualify for the Microsoft Certified trainer (MCT) and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) and Haji Kamsani also obtained the A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+ and CCNA qualifications.

     He attained his IC³ course and passed the exams and gained the certificates of Internet and Computing Core Certification in 2008. He is also a voluntary Consultant of de' Heritage group of companies, where he assisted in the setting-up of its Internet Café, IT Services, Multimedia services, Publishing and IT Training School.

     He married to a RBA Manager and lived happily with his seven wonderful children (Khairunnisaa Saaniah 21, Nuruddin Hadii 18, Nadzirun Hazim 16, Nuran Hafizh 13, Naziri Hirzi 10, Nifael Haikal 5 and Niqwan Hakimi 4).
